Greeting words to 2009/2010 intake

5th July, the day we have to check in to our residential college. The day that symbolizes new begin of my 3rd semester. New faces, new styles and even new bloods.

I am here to greet the new bloods of universiti Malaya. Welcome to universiti Malaya! Congratulations to all as you all are now in the FIRST CLASS university in Malaysia. Here you are going to start your another extend of your life, another different university life that you want to live!.

For those who are lucky enough to enter 2nd residential college, Welcome home! Soon here will be your second home and you will never think to go home!

University life, a different mode from high school life. You will have more freedom here, free to see, free to experience and free to know whatever people you like. Lecturers won't nag at you like your high schools teachers. Seniors won't nag at you like your parents. You yourself have to take care of all your own business because they are all your responsibility, your life.


I am sure that you all must be excited enough when being here. Certainly. Just like the time i was a junior. Greater exposures to different cultures compared to your high schools. Try to experience and learn from them. However, you may lose yourself easily unless you set your own goal, own direction in university. Manage your life with wisdom. It will help you a lot.
